Brostallicin Clinical Trial for Myxoid Liposarcoma

Pharmatech, Inc. is managing a clinical trial sponsored by Systems Medicine, LLC.  The trial is a Phase 2 open-label clinical study of an experimental drug called Brostallicin, for the treatment of patients with myxoid liposarcoma with a (12;16) translocation. The cancer must be metastatic or unresectable and standard curative or palliative measures do not exist or are not effective. ARQ 197-204 for Clear Cell and Alveolar Soft Part Sarcomas

Arqule Inc., in cooperation with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Texas Children’s Cancer Center, Mary Crowley Medical Research Center, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, University of California San Francisco, and Premiere Oncology, is sponsoring a multi-center, single arm (non-comparative) phase 2 clinical trial evaluating the use of ARQ 197 in patients with microphthalmia transcription factor, or MiT, associated tumors.  These MiT tumors include clear cell sarcoma, alveolar soft part sarcoma, and translocation associated renal cell carcinoma.  This trial, ARQ 197-204, is currently open, active, and enrolling patients.
