Mr. Barry Khosrowzadeh graduated from The School of Building and Construction at The University of Florida in 1984. He began his career as an associate project manager for Calmark Construction where he built The Ocean Gallery Resort at St. Augustine Beach, FL. In 1986, Mr. Khosrowzadeh purchased The Penny Pincher Truck Stop, a full service facility which included a fueling station, convenience store, restaurant, and service bay. He also ran his own small trucking operation and leased space to other trucking firms. Later, he opened a large trucking depot near the Jacksonville Port on Hecksher Drive. In 1998, Mr. Khosrowzadeh purchased The Harbor Village Shopping Center on Atlantic Boulveard near Queen’s Harbor. With his new real estate investment company, B. and S. Properties his focus remained in real estate, investing, renovating, and managing commercial and residential properties in Gainesville, FL, Palm Coast, FL, Jacksonville, FL, and Jacksonville Beach, FL. His company, B. and S. Properties was a partnership between himself and his wife, Susan. Mr. Khosrowzadeh also partnered in numerous properties and projects with Mr. Farzin Darabi and Mr. Frank Derabi.

Mr. Khosrowzadeh is survived by his wife, Susan, married 31 years, and their 4 sons: Dr. David Ali Khosrowzadeh (29), Kevin Robert Khosrowzadeh (25), Jacob Matthew Khosrowzadeh (22), and Noah Firooz Khosrowzadeh (17). He also leaves his mother, Kobra (Peri) Ghasabani, three brothers, Behzad (Bruce) Khosrowzadeh, Bahram (Ben) Khosrowzadeh, Bahman (Bob) Khosrowzadeh and two sisters, Mahvash Khosrowzadeh and Sorur Khosrowzadeh. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, sister and brother-in-laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Most of his family lives in Jacksonville or his birthplace, Hamadan, Iran. The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care provided by his sister, Mahvash and his brother, Bahram. We also would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Mayo Clinic and McGraw Hospice, especially his hospice doctor, Dr. Castro, who provided not only medical, but spiritual care and service.
