How do you begin writing a biography for a beloved brother, son and friend? How do you sum up the life of Ryan in a few short sentences and do justice to the greatness of his life? While Ryan was only 32 years old when he passed from a pleomorphic rhabdomyo sarcoma, his young age magnifies the enormity of the void he has left in everyone’s lives and hearts he touched.
We all believed in a pure and complete recovery, and most especially Ryan believed. Ryan was totally optimistic and maintained nothing but positive thoughts throughout this most difficult of walks. We all wished and prayed for Ryan to return to the life he loved and to be surrounded by those who loved him most. The emptiness we feel without Ryan will never be filled, but, we know now that we have the strongest advocate working on our behalf in Heaven. Do not be afraid to talk to Ryan, he is with you. Give generously, love deeply, and be fully present as no day is ever guaranteed.
