Sound Off For Sarcoma will be a unique concert performed in memory of Robin Sullivan. Consisting of a 60-minute piece entitled “Remembrance of Robin,” Sound Off For Sarcoma is intended to raise money for and awareness of the rare cancer that Robin succumbed to at age 47 in 2006.
The recital will be performed by Robin’s husband, Robert Sullivan, Principal Trumpet for the Cincinnati Orchestra, who will be accompanied by Julie Spangler, piano (Cincinnati Pops) and Joseph Alessi, trombone (New York Philharmonic.) This concert was conceived more than two years ago and could not have happened without the generosity of the many composers and musicians who have donated their time and talent to its production.
Please join us at the Yamaha Center on Tuesday evening February 16 for its first public performance followed by a reception to celebrate its debut.
