In the Fall of 2009, Michael Stacy was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Despite a long and courageous battle, Michael passed away on March 18, 2010 at the age of 45.
Michael never lost his optimism about beating this disease. Even through the worst of times, he did not let it get him down. Throughout this battle, his family was by his side; Michelle to whom he had been happily married to for 21 years, his daughter Meaghan and his son Nicolas.
Michael enjoyed his spare time being actively involved with the Point Pleasant High School Performing Arts groups, participating with Nicolas’ sports, and spending time with his family.
In lieu of flowers, please use the link below to make donations in Michael’s name to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. This way we can all help fund research to hopefully one day find a cure for this disease.
Please keep Michael’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
