Rare Disease Day Slideshow Tribute

The Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) is expanding our Valentine tribute to also recognize your loved one on Rare Disease Day! In recognition of Rare Disease Day (February 29, 2012), please make a charitable donation to SFA and share a photo of your loved one in honor or in memory of their life and love. The photo of your loved one will be highlighted in a slideshow presentation on the SFA website through March 4 (sample presentation below). SFA is committed daily to finding the cure for sarcoma in our time by advocating for increased research to find new and better therapies with which to treat patients with sarcoma.

Michael Brendan O’Flaherty

A dear husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

In the journey of life, it is not too often when one has the opportunity to know and love a man like Mike O’Flaherty.  There was/is no other man that was so strong, selfless, generous & kind, always putting the interest of others ahead of his own.  Although he is no longer of this earth, he will live on in our hearts, minds & life forever.
We will all miss him dearly. God Bless.
