A Gift in Our Time

Dec 24, 2011 • Nationwide

For 10 years the Sarcoma Foundation of America has been committed to battling sarcoma by funding medical research, educating patients, and advocating for government reform. Throughout this first decade we have grown from a grassroots organization to a national foundation that has dedicated nearly $3 million toward sarcoma research, enabling crucial discoveries that are leading to new treatments.

The SFA has also developed the national Sarcoma Patient Registry as a research tool for epidemiological and drug development studies and funds career development programs to foster young scientists interested in gaining knowledge about this disease. Additionally, the SFA has been the voice of all Americans with rare cancers to engage the government to adopt policies that will foster new drug development for neglected cancers like sarcoma.

Unfortunately, despite this progress, much more has to be done to find a cure for all sarcomas.

Supporters like you have given us the focus and drive to build the Sarcoma Foundation of America into a true voice for sarcoma patients. With your help and generous spirit, the next 10 years will forge a path for more awareness, research, and new therapies for sarcomas.

In this season of giving, we are writing to ask for your further support in finding the cure in our time by donating to our end-of-year program, “A Gift in Our Time.” Your generous gift of $50, $100, $200, $500 or more will help in the search for a cure. There are a variety of ways that you can donate such as check, credit card, stock gifts, planned gifts, and matching gifts from participating employers.

Giving is a choice, fighting for a cause is a belief, and your support is a must!

Thank you in advance for your continued support!
