The shamrock, the symbol of Ireland, is a tribute to my dad, who was born on St. Patrick’s Day 1945. He was diagnosed with Metastatic Soft Tissue Sarcoma in December 2011 and lost his fight in July 2012 - which ironically is Sarcoma Awareness Month. IRISH for a Cure will raise money through various efforts to help the Sarcoma Foundation of America with efforts to find a cure for sarcomas. —Denise Reynolds
