Miles 2 Give - a 3,000 Mile Run Across the U.S. for Sarcoma Research
Feb 14, 2013 • Nationwide
SFA is pleased to announce an official partnership with
Miles2Give (M2G), an organization that shares our goal of finding the cure for sarcoma. M2G raises money for sarcoma research through great physical feats, all the while inspiring people to achieve more. This year, M2G founder Landon Cooper will become the next 3,000 mile man by completing a 150-day run across this great nation, with the goals of increasing awareness and raising over $100,000 for sarcoma research. Landon set out from Ocean Beach, CA, this past February 14 and aims to arrive in Washington, DC, in July or August.
The SFA has supported the Miles2Give effort since the beginning of the journey and will be the recipient of funds raised for the SFA Ashley Davis Sarcoma Research grant. The SFA will award the research grant through the prestigious SFA Sarcoma Research Grant Program. Beginning April 8, 2013 - through the duration of the 2013 M2G run - all donations in support of the M2G effort will be charitable contributions to the SFA and are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The SFA looks forward to accomplishing great things in partnership with M2G!
