On January 27th 2010, Tim Allen was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Chondrosarcoma. The cause of this disease is still unknown and there are very few options for treatments. Tim’s oncologist, Dr. Scott Porter, has been very informative and helpful with explaining this rare disease.
Tim has been retired from JTA for the past 13 years and has been happily married to Kitty for 16 years. Tim has been enjoying his retirement by playing a lot of golf and spending time with his family, especially his grandson Joe and his son Mark.
In lieu of flowers, please use the link below to make donations in Tim’s name to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. This way we can all help fund research to hopefully one day find a cure for this disease.
Please keep Tim’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
