SFA Chapters

The mission of the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) is to advocate for increased research to find new and better therapies with which to treat patients with sarcoma. In order to fulfill our mission and increase our grassroots outreach, the organization is currently establishing SFA Chapters with a goal of having a Chapter Leader in all 50 states and beyond. When you join the SFA you will automatically become a member and be notified of any SFA-related activities that are going on in your area. If you would like to assist your Chapter Leader in planning SFA activities in your state or country, please send them an email.

If your state does not have a Chapter Leader and you would like more information about this volunteer position, please email Patrice Guzman at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

SFA Fundraisers

Interested in holding a fundraising event?  Contact SFA Chapter Manager Patrice Guzman at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or 301-253-8687.  She will help you get started and answer any questions you may have.  The SFA has tools that you can use, as well as guidelines and suggestions, that will help make the most of your fundraising activities.  You can also set up an online fundraising page at CrowdRise.

Because of the grassroots nature of the SFA, we are relying on your local ingenuity to develop ideas for fundraising for sarcoma research. Rest assured that we will help facilitate your efforts so that you can have a successful event!  Possible fundraising ideas include a cocktail reception, happy hour, wine tasting, bowling tournament, lemonade stand, garage sale, car wash, local run/walk, golf tournament, or gala.

Below is a list of upcoming fundraising events throughout the U.S. that are raising vital funds for sarcoma research. Please get involved!
