The mission of the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) is to advocate for increased research to find new and better therapies with which to treat patients with sarcoma. In order to fulfill our mission and increase our grassroots outreach, the organization is currently establishing SFA Chapters with a goal of having a Chapter Leader in all 50 states and beyond. When you join the SFA you will automatically become a member and be notified of any SFA-related activities that are going on in your area. If you would like to assist your Chapter Leader in planning SFA activities in your state or country, please send them an email.
Because of the grassroots nature of the SFA, we are relying on your local ingenuity to develop ideas for fundraising for sarcoma research. Rest assured that we will help facilitate your efforts so that you can have a successful event! Possible fundraising ideas include a cocktail reception, happy hour, wine tasting, bowling tournament, lemonade stand, garage sale, car wash, local run/walk, golf tournament, or gala.
Below is a list of upcoming fundraising events throughout the U.S. that are raising vital funds for sarcoma research. Please get involved!

, a new album featuring highlights from three concerts in honor of the late Kate McGarrigle, the beloved singer and Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame member, is out now on Nonesuch Records. After McGarrigle died of sarcoma, in 2010, her children—the acclaimed musicians Rufus and Martha Wainwright—and her sister and musical partner Anna McGarrigle led tribute concerts in London, Toronto, and New York.
