Ali Karpa

To celebrate and honor the cancer treatment of Ali Karpa, this donation page has been created to support research for sarcoma.  The type of cancer Ali was diagnosed with is a rare soft tissue sarcoma. Sarcoma represents less than 1% of all adult cancers and about 20% of pediatric cancers. Most cases are found after the cancer has already spread which makes for a very poor prognosis. Through research, Ali is hopeful that this will change.  With your donation, it will be used for grants to sarcoma researchers who are trying to better understand the disease and look for better treatment options. She hopes that in her lifetime there will be significant improvements and that it will be possible for patients to have a cure. Please consider a donation to help make Ali’s dream a reality.
