Dr. Bruce E. Katz

Dr. Bruce E. Katz of Kennett Square, PA, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2017.

Loving husband of Vicki to whom he was married to for 23 years. Adored father of Benjamin and Matthew. Dear son of Sol (Jeannie Swerlin) & the late Martha Katz son in law of Florence Nadell and the late Irving Nadell. Beloved brother of Joanne & Dr. John Schosheim and Dr. Jeffrey & Michelle Katz And brother in law of Dr. Jeffrey & Suanne Yeres and Dr. Stephen & Ellen Siegel. Cherished uncle to Marielle, Michael, Alex & Samantha, Marisa, Jesse, Alex, Liza, Alicia, and Jason. Dear devoted extended family of Dr. Peter & Lisa Schosheim, Jennifer & Geoffrey, Scotty, Irena, Irving, Elaine, Eric, Marianne, Sophia and Lee Wolbrom and Estelle & Jonathan Rauch.

Dr. Katz graduated from Northwestern Univ. with a degree in Mechanical & Bio Medical Engineering. He earned his medical degree from George Washington Medical School in 1991 and became an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon practicing with First State Orthopedics in Newark, DE.
