Celine Marie Montenegro

Celine Marie Montenegro of Surprise, AZ, went to be with Jesus on October 12, 2017. Beloved Daughter of Michael & Lori Montenegro. Cherished Sister to Chris Trujillo and Mikey Montenegro, Precious Granddaughter to Linda Montenegro and Candelaria Trujillo.

Celine’s beautiful spirit touched many hearts, her memory will forever live in all those who knew her. She loved her family which included all her aunts and uncles, nieces, and cousins. she was a loving and loyal friend.

We love you Celine our Angel in Heaven. Celine was 22 when she was diagnosed with soft tissue Sarcoma, had a tumor on her leg and fought hard for 3 years. She had chemo at the Cancer Center of America in Phoenix and underwent chemo for 6 months straight. Doctors where hoping chemo would shrink the tumors small enough to be treated with radiation to avoid surgery but were unsuccessful. In the beginning Celine felt defeated and was very scared, but the support, the love, the prayers she received gave her the strength and the hope to fight. We will continue to fight to find a cure for Sarcoma and in her memory we will not give up because she never gave up.
