Dean Dessem

Dean was a neuroscientist who did research and taught at the University of Maryland. After his diagnosis 6 years ago, he did endless research on sarcoma looking for possible treatments he could try while battling this rare and terrible disease.

Dean was an avid golfer and a dog lover. He had a special love for his 2 agility dogs, Sokoni and Daerich.
