Dhirubhai L. Patel

After a battle with cancer, Dhirubhai L. Patel, 65, of Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 28, 2016.

Born in Kampala, Uganda in November 1950, he was the second child to the late Lalbhai and Laxmiben Patel. He later moved to Birmingham, UK, in 1966, before settling in Longview in 1990. He was a kind-hearted, loving, person who was always smiling. He always saw the best in people and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a gift to this world and will remain in his family’s hearts forever.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife, of 41 years, Gangaben; daughters, and son-in laws, (Naimisha & Kamlesh and Dimple & Hinesh); his sister and two younger brothers, (Indira & Kanti, Naren & Surekha and Prakasha & Hemlata); his granddaughter, Meela and his nieces and nephews, (Umisha & Hitesh, Ketan & Jamie, Bhavisha, Hitixa & Kruti) and their spouses and children.
