Lauri Ann Molloy

Molloy, Lauri AnnMy sister was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma in 6/2008. She had surgery, chemo and radiation. Passed away 9/2/10. She was my only sibling and I miss her so much. She was a physical therapist. Loved her career, dog, yoga, dance, nature, running, organic foods and everything healthy. Never smoke, drank or used any drugs. Her greatest love was her daughter, Caitlin, who was only 21 and misses her everyday. My sister loved life and lived everyday helping people as a therapist. She was only 52. She was the healthiest person I knew until LMS appeared. It’s so rare, we don’t get the research, awareness and treatment other cancers do. Please help spread awareness and bring about successful treatment, increased lifespan and a cure. Lauri and I always thought cancer happened to other people. I learned the hard way, it just happens and can happen to anyone. Not a day goes by that I don’t talk to her, miss her and feel I was robbed. I’m hoping to see that change for others in my lifetime. “Don’t forget me” is the last thing Lauri said to me. How could I ever?
