Stephen A. O’Neil

O’Neil, Stephen A., 60, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at his residence with his loving family and friends at his side.Steve was Senior Vice President in the research department at Hilliard Lyons where he had 31 years of service; was a graduate of U of L Speed School with a Masters in Chemical Engineering and an MBA; a Chartered Financial Analyst; a four time all star analyst; and four time winner of the Wall Street Journal Best on Street Award; and was on the board of BENA (Breckenridge Estates Neighborhood Association). He was also a member of St. Martha Catholic Church.He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Lindsey O’Neil.

Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife, Cara Sue Thompson O’Neil; his son, Brian O’Neil; his daughter, Lindsay O’Neil; brothers-in-law, Paul Thompson (Ursula) and Michael Thompson; nieces, Diana Melendy (Dave) and Katie Gilman (Stephen); and nephew, David Thompson.
