Janis Lynn Evans Schlagenhauf

Diagnosed in 2016 with a rare sarcoma, Janis always maintained a wonderful sense of humor and a strong desire to live and love as fiercely as humanly possible. Though cancer caused her great suffering and took her too soon, she faced death with grace and dignity, fighting until the very end. She will be eternally missed by her children and grandchildren and everyone who loved her. It was Janis’ wish that more funding be devoted to sarcoma research to find a cure.
