Jean Pordon

Jean Pordon (Uetzmann) of Delafield, WI, entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, December 27, at age 62 after a courageous battle with Leiomyosarcoma. Beloved wife of Dennis Pordon for 40 years. Adored mother of Andrew (Kelly) and Kelly (Jameson) Pelkey. Cherished “G-Mo” of grandsons Brandon, Garrett, and Ashton. Daughter of Carol and the late Paul Uetzmann and daughter-in-law of Melvin and the late Jean Pordon. Sister of Joan (Joe) LeRoy. Also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews. 

Jean was a strong woman of faith and quick to give her time and talents in service of others. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and praise band, leading women’s ministry, and volunteering. Jean spent many years teaching at Divine Redeemer Lutheran School and coaching youth sports. She was always active playing tennis, kayaking, gardening, and sewing. Jean lived with great joy and was devoted to her family, friends, and her Lord. Her infectious smile will be dearly missed.
