Lori Imhoff Jamieson

After a brief and brave battle with a rare sarcoma cancer (Leiomyosarcoma), Lori died on November 9, 2018 in Raleigh N.C.

Lori was a beloved mother to her 3 sons, as well as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. Her infectious laughter and outlook on life were unforgettable.  Lori was a talented artist and designer who took great pride in her work. After high school she studied Graphic Design at the University of Maryland in College Park. Her desire to continue to express herself creatively led her to obtaining a second degree – this one from Meredith College in Raleigh. She proudly graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Interior Design/Architecture. In July she started a new career with STORR Office Environments. She loved her job and the friends she made while there.  She was an enthusiastic golfer and had great times playing with her ‘9 and wine’ golf friends at TPC Wakefield Plantation.

She was loving, kind, thoughtful and passionate with everyone she met. Above all, she was a mother to her sons whom she was incredibly proud of.

When diagnosed, Lori remained a brave, iron-willed woman to her final days. She hoped that her illness would be used as a catalyst to create awareness to this rare cancer and provide the much-needed funds to help find a cure. Please find it in your hearts to donate to the Sarcoma Foundation of America in Lori’s memory.
