Margaret Blizard

This page is a celebration of my mother finishing her chemotherapy treatment in her fight against Sarcoma. She was diagnosed last summer, underwent surgery in August and finished her chemo in February of this year. All her loved ones are positive and hopeful that her recovery from the side-effects of her treatment will be swift.

I am running the Broad St. Run in Philadelphia in May. I am dedicating the run to her, her bravery, and her courage in this fight. I would like to raise money for this event in her honor and donate it to curesarcoma.org.

Anyone who knows my mother knows what a selfless and loving individual she is. I am confident that me spearheading a fundraising campaign for others with this type of cancer would make her extremely happy.
