In September 2022, my mom was diagnosed with undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma. After countless visits to the doctor, my mom finally learned what was causing her pain the last few years. The pain was from a sarcoma growing in her groin. The doctors continued to miss it. It wasn’t until a visit to the emergency room that the culprit was finally revealed. It was the bitter sweet news for my mom and our family. She was happy that they finally knew what was going on with her, but incredibly sad to hear it was cancer. She is currently going through radiation and possibly chemotherapy. She has done a phenomenal job raising her 4 children. She also helped raise her 9 siblings. She pushes through the pain with a smile on her face even though the it can unbearable at times. My mom is one of the most strongest women I know. She is an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. We keep faith in her strength and God to get her through this.
