Maryanne Lomas

Maryanne Lomas was a truly loving aunt, wife, friend, sister, and daughter. She lost her three year battle to Stage 4 GIST cancer on May 11th, 2021 at the age of 43. Maryanne had a lot of life left to live and so many more things to give and share with the world. She fought every single day for her life, most days crippled with pain, but you never saw her without a smile and that contagious laugh. Cancer never slowed that woman down, she began to fight harder for every little moment in life and truly seized the day.

Just before being diagnosed, Maryanne switched her career to her dream job as a realtor and she never quit that job, working on finding people their dream homes ’til the day she died. That’s just who she was, life didn’t scare her and she took every moment at face value, never, ever giving up. 

We can find a cure for Sarcoma cancer and one day other families won’t feel the pain of the loss of sunshine taken from you too soon. Everything our family does is for Maryanne and everyone struggling with Sarcoma cancer. We are here and we’re not scared because we can beat this.
