Jody Pollack Roth RN, MPH, OCN is a Clinical Nurse IV at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Jody works in the ambulatory setting and is responsible for the care, pre-operation teaching, follow up, and coordination of resources for patients with orthopaedic cancers. She is honored to work in a collaborative practice with Dr. John Healey, who she has immense admiration for, and from whom she is constantly learning from. Jody has been in this role for 23 years and, thanks to her amazing colleagues and patients, she still loves coming to work. She feels that it is a privilege to care for her patients as she is constantly touched, impressed and inspired by them. She truly enjoys getting to know them and their families as they go through their entire course of treatment and many years of subsequent follow up. Jody feels very grateful to have the opportunity to be involved in her patients’ care, support them through difficult times, and share their good news.
Before working in the outpatient setting, Jody spent two years working in the MSKCC Operating Room (OR). Prior to joining the team at MSKCC, Jody worked in the OR at New York University Langone Medical Center, and previously worked on the open heart team and trauma team in the OR at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, where she lived for 12 years.
Jody is passionate about providing the best possible care to her patients and strives to consistently contribute to positive outcomes for them.
Finally, Jody is immeasurably appreciative for all of the love and support she has received from her family and friends.
