Patrick Waibel

Patrick WaibelPatrick K. Waibel, 31, of Lower Burrell, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, in his home. He was born Feb. 1, 1984, to Mark and Sheila Rossiter Waibel, of Lower Burrell. Patrick was a 2002 graduate of Burrell High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He worked for PNC Financial Services as a business analyst and especially enjoyed his last work assignment in London, U.K. He had previously worked for BNY Mellon.

Patrick was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell and the Lower Burrell VFW. Patrick lived life to the fullest and loved people, especially spending time with his family and friends, and will always be remembered for being the life of the party and his comedic nature. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. His warm heart and friendly smile will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, skiing, going to camp and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Marcus Waibel, of Oakmont; paternal grandparents, Rose and Paul Waibel, of Pitcarin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Elizabeth Rossiter.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Hillman Cancer Center, Shadyside Hospital, Family Hospice and his employer PNC.
