Alberto Pappo, MD

Alberto Pappo, MD, is the Director of the Solid Tumor Division at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dr. Pappo earned his medical degree from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. After his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Pappo went on to complete his fellowship at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Pappo’s research interests are in the development of novel therapies for pediatric solid tumors with a special interest in pediatric melanoma, soft tissue sarcomas, and pediatric gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
