Scott Michael Schuetze MD, PhD

Scott Schuetze, M.D., Ph.D. is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Active Medical Staff Physician, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he has been a member of the faculty in the Division of Hematology/Oncology since 2004. He is the Director of the Connective Tissue Oncology Program and Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Office in the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Schuetze earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology at Rice University in Houston, Texas and Doctorates of Medicine and Philosophy in biochemistry and molecular biology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon where he was a Medical Research Foundation of Oregon Scholar. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina followed by a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Schuetze is board certified in Medical Oncology.
