Andrew S. Kraft, MD

Andrew Kraft MD - Sarcoma Research and TreatmentDr. Kraft, a medical oncologist and nationally recognized researcher, was appointed Director of Hollings Cancer Center in 2004. Dr. Kraft is a University Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He holds the Distinguished William H. Folk, MD, Chair in Experimental Oncology.

His laboratory research focus is targeted in the areas of prostate cancer and novel cancer drug development, and he has been continuously funded since 1990 by the NCI, Department of Defense, and Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.

As an active medical oncologist, Dr. Kraft is a leader in the development and implementation of clinical trials utilizing the latest available therapies for genitourinary cancers and sarcoma.
