Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2014

Every September is recognized as Childhood Cancer Awareness month.  Each year during this month, the childhood cancer community stands united in the effort to bring attention to the significant needs of the children whose lives have been turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.  During this time, we join our voices together to loudly raise awareness for the need for increased research and a stronger focus on drug development for childhood cancer patients.  This is especially true in the sarcoma community as, sadly, sarcoma is rather prevalent in children, comprising about 15 percent of all childhood cancers.   And while we make…  Read More »
