Trent Williams
Trent Williams is not only one of the best offensive linemen in NFL history, but also a sarcoma survivor. In January 2019, the “Silverback” was diagnosed with Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, a rare subtype of sarcoma. His delayed diagnosis received national media attention, but is unfortunately not uncommon for people diagnosed with sarcoma. After enduring several cranial surgeries and sitting out the 2019 season, Trent was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 and earned his eighth Pro Bowl selection, before becoming the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history earlier this year.
Trent’s story will be highlighted in a documentary produced by CloseUp360 and Elite Loyalty Sports, in which he opens up for the first time about one of the craziest comebacks in sports.
