Organize an Event
Fundraisers are an important vehicle in advancing our mission. We are honored to be contacted by so many passionate members of the community wanting to organize an event to increase sarcoma awareness and funding for research.
We challenge you to get involved! Some easy ideas include organizing a bowl-a-thon, car wash, golf tournament, neighborhood walk, dance, office fundraiser, or neighborhood BBQ. All efforts, large and small, assist the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) with awareness and research to find the cure in our time.
Personal fundraisers: We encourage you to set up a personal fundraising page today in support of the SFA! These are perfect for dedication pages, birthdays and weddings in lieu of gifts, individual fundraising, etc. It’s easy and free to get started! Just click the “Start a Giving Page” button.
Third-party fundraisers: If you would like to hold a larger event, such as a walk/run, golf tournament, motorcycle/bicycle ride, etc., please read through our SFA Third Party Fundraising Event Guidelines. Once you are ready to move forward, please fill out the Fundraising Event Proposal form found at the end of the guideline packet and return it to us via email at email@example.com or fax it to 301-253-8690. An SFA Representative will follow up with you shortly to discuss your event. Rest assured that we will help facilitate your efforts so that you can have a successful event!
