Margaret M. Weaver

Margaret M. Stoll Weaver, 90, died on November 9, 2017, at the Cadia Silverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Wilmington, DE. She died of natural causes.

Born in Oaks, PA, Margaret had been a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania until just recently. She was known for her volunteer work with churches where she belonged (King of Prussia, Elkland and Lancaster); her handmade quilts; and her green thumb which produced colorful perennial flower gardens. She also loved doing crossword puzzles and playing canasta.

Margaret is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, George Harry Weaver, and her daughter, Constance Marie Weaver; brothers William, Edward, Casey and John; and sisters Emma Stoll Dotts and Martha Stoll Fitzcharles.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pattie Weaver Wanamaker and Diane Weaver Karchner, and a son; 6 grandchildren – Renee Burns, Derek Karchner, Kate Capone, Brian Weaver, Rob Wanamaker, and Stephen Focht; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private burial service will be held in Lititz, PA, at 11:00am on 12/1/2017.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Celebration Gathering on Friday, December 1, 2017 at The Great American Pub, 148 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA, from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Light appetizers and beverages will be available.
