George Elmer

George Elmer was diagnosed with a rare form of chondrosarcoma in August 2019. He fought gallantly for 4 months before losing his demising and arduous battle on January 4th, 2020. George was a true leader, nurturer and gentleman. He had a smile that could brighten your day and words of wisdom that would calm your woes. George was a good man, pure even. He had such an impact on everyone that he met. His family, friends and community are stronger and better people having known him. While grieving George’s passing we happened upon this quote: “One day you will tell your story of how you’ve overcome what you’re going through now, and it will become part of someone else’s survival guide.” – Unknown
