David McCann

David was first and foremost a family man. Nothing was ever more important to him than family. His love for his family extended beyond the boundaries of blood and bled into the friendships he made around the world.

As a young man he loved hiking, football, wrestling, and became an All American gymnast. He also met the love of his life, Nancy, and built a life full of love, kids, coaching little league football, and playing golf. His greatest joy and source of pride were his grandchildren and seeing each of them succeed in their own unique way.

David battled chondrosarcoma, a rare form of sarcoma, for seven years. He won the battle twice, but this last time took his life too early.

He has left behind a legacy that has impacted hundreds of people worldwide and his impact will live on long after today. To us, his family, he was nothing short of the very best husband, father, and grandfather. If you so choose, we would appreciate any donation you are willing to make to help support research and treatment for chondrosarcoma.
