Alan L. Horner

Our father, Alan Horner, affectionately known as Captain, had a zest for life like no other. He never met a stranger, making friends wherever he went. He always had a story or tale to share, and naturally commanded any room he was in, leaving everyone in stitches. To know Al, was to love him. He loved hard and made everyone around him feel important. Tragically, Alan’s life was cut far too short by an incurable sarcoma brain tumor in just three short months, at the age of 72.
