Angela Gibbons

We are sad to announce the death of Angela Gibbons who passed away at her home on May 23, 2023, after a tough battle with cancer.

She was always happiest when she had all of her family with her in one place.

She held a PhD in Educational Psychology and taught School for almost 40 years. She truly enjoyed teaching and touched many lives. She loved her students.

Her greatest joy was being with her family. She enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to have visited every place that was on her list of places to see. She really enjoyed motorcycle riding and was the best passenger ever. She also enjoyed watching the old Western television shows. During her retirement, she volunteered her time with those less fortunate and was always looking to help in any way she could. Even when she was in the hospital fighting for her life, she would be sure and thank the staff for everything they did, which made her the favorite patient on the floor.  She lived a full life.

She is survived by: Husband Jeff; Daughters Shevon and Shante’; Granddaughters Jordyn and Amira; Sister Cheryl; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
