Dr. Joseph J. Armao IV

This is in honor of our son, brother, husband and friend, Dr. Joseph J. Armao IV. He fought valiantly against Sclerosing Epithelioid Fibrosarcoma, and surely the rareness of his cancer proved a great obstacle. He was a research scientist, so there is no more fitting way to commemorate the life of this beautiful soul than with the hope that a cure for sarcoma may be found with additional research. By the time he was diagnosed in June of 2016, his cancer had metastasized but he waged an uphill battle full of hope and determination all the way to the end. He left us on November 20, 2018. His wife, parents, sister, brother and all his other family members and friends will miss him greatly. He was a man who embraced his life with gusto, always learning, working hard, enjoying sports, reading, traveling, writing and being with loved ones, especially for a good meal. He packed a lot of life and a lot of achievement into his short 34 years, and the world was cheated with his passing. He could have done great things.

If you care to donate in his name, in the hope that others will be spared the pain of watching a loved one struggle to live against the long of odds fighting this and other cancers, we thank you.
