Edward Musko2Edward W. Musko, 77, of Butler received his heavenly reward after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 18, 2015, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler, while surrounded by his devout and faith loving family.

Born Dec. 1, 1937, in Butler, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Misko) Musko.

He was a graduate of Butler High School class of 1955. He retired in 1989 as a Production Planner from AK Steel.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora where he served as a volunteer.

He was a member of the Oakview Golf Course in Slippery Rock. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and good cuisine.

Surviving are his wife Helen Sherba Musko, whom he married July 27, 1957; two sons, Edward P. (Linda) and John W. (Mary) Musko, both of Butler; a daughter, Donna (Ken) Winters of Butler; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Barb) Musko of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
