Landon S. Vargas

Landon S. Vargas, nine years old, passed away in his mother’s arms at home surrounded by his family by his side on December 5, 2015.

Born November 26, 2006, in Bryn Mawr, Landon was the cherished son of Beth Anne (D’Orazio) and Ariel Vargas. He lived in East Norriton with his parents, sister Brooklyn, and two brothers, Brayden and Hayden. Grandparents Joanne and Sante D’Orazio and Maria Nieves (Vargas). His uncles Raymond D’Orazio, Joseph D’Orazio, Micheal D’Orazio, Adrian Vargas, Robert Kelly, John Miccio, and Shawn Hollingsworth. Aunts Jennifer Hollingsworth (D’Orazio), Leslie Miccio (Vargas), Angelica Kelly (Vargas), Martha D’Orazio (Bradbury) and 14 cousins.

Landon was diagnosed with cancer on his 4th birthday but never let that define him and his love for life. He had a huge heart and loved playing baseball, lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and wrestling. He enjoyed watching all of the Philadelphia teams especially the Phillies. Landon was a 3rd grader at St. Helena School. He loved to have backyard picnics and spend time with his family and friends. He was witty, brave and intelligent and our world was blessed to have been graced by his big heart, sense of humor, and contagious smile.
