Jeffrey M. Thornton
In loving memory of Jeffrey M. Thornton.
Jeffrey Mark Thornton, 19, of Damascus, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born August 2, 1995, in Olney, he was the son of Mark O. Thornton and Patricia Mullinix Thornton of Damascus. At the time of his death, Jeffrey had just completed his second year at Towson University. As a life-long Steelers fan, he had planned to move to Pittsburgh after college and attend the University of Pittsburgh to train as a Clinical Psychologist.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his brother Matthew Thornton, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeffrey is remembered as a kind-hearted, deeply generous soul with an infectious, million-dollar smile and an all-consuming hug. He was our heart. We will love and miss him forever.
