Kathy Winegar Cook

Kathy Winegar Cook was an extremely selfless wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great grandma to an amazing family who will always love and cherish her memory. She was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma in June of 2016. Her foot with cancer was amputated but the cancer had already spread quickly to other parts of her body. She put up a very good fight by going through chemotherapy and several clinical trials but unfortunately she lost her battle on October 12th, 2018. She loved going on adventures with her husband Jim and she loved her grand babies so much. She was so beautiful and loved by so many people. And although she will be greatly missed, we are so happy she’s no longer in pain.

Sarcoma is still a very rare form of cancer that needs a lot more research and money in order to save lives and our loved ones. Any size donation would be greatly appreciated in honor of her memory. On behalf of our family, we thank you.
