Lori Laflin

Lori was my baby sister. She was diagnosed with a sarcoma in her right leg in the summer of 2016. After chemo and radiation and surgery (that severed her sciatic nerve which impacted her ability to walk), we thought she had beaten the cancer. In January 2018 she went in for her quarterly scans and there were “shadows on her liver” – and she went from remission to terminal in minutes. She fought for five months and sadly passed away on May 30, 2018. She left behind her 19 year old daughter, 15 year old son and loving husband as well as her mother and I. While we all miss her so much, I am thankful she is no longer in pain. — Terri
