Manuel Garcia Jr

In April of 2016, Manuel Garcia was diagnosed with a PEComa, perivascular epitheloid cell sarcoma, an extremely rare cancer. However, due to his faith in God and determination he never gave up. As he underwent chemo at the Sylvester Cancer Research center nurses told us he was the “patient we tell other patients about” because of the progress he made during his fight, gaining back 35 pounds and getting back on his feet. On November 15, 2017, he passed away peacefully in the presence of his family. It is our wishes that we honor his fighting spirit by giving to this foundation and increasing awareness and research to find a cure.
