Paul Anthony Vallatini
Paul Anthony Vallatini of Salisbury, age 59, formerly of Braintree, passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a brief and brave battle with a rare sarcoma cancer (leiomyosarcoma).
He was a family man through and through with an incredible ability to balance a great core of friends and coworkers. An active man who never sat for too long, his spare time was spent with his grandchildren, refereeing lacrosse and hockey for the past 30 years, golfing, vacationing many years with the Braintree Crew and relaxing at his summer home on Cape Cod.
Paul’s family life was one to be admired. His marriage to Kim was unlike any other, their love of life and each other was truly something special. There was no question how proud he was of his greatest achievements in life; his children Heather, Paul Jr, and Tracy. They, along with Kim, were without a doubt his greatest treasures.
In 2013, Paul received his next greatest blessing in life, and possibly his most cherished title. He became a Papa. This title is not something he took lightly. And he showed everyone who surrounded him exactly what that title meant to him. As the best Papa around, he doted on his grandchildren Jaxson, Aliana, Mac & Cora. He did not miss an opportunity to show them exactly how much he adored them, and how proud he was to be their Papa. Papa was their true superhero.
Paul will forever be remembered by his contagious laugh (usually ending in tears), and his love of life and all who surrounded him. He was a joy to be around and is often recognized for his giant heart and the kindness given to others.
A better friend, son, brother, husband, father, or papa could not be had. The world is a lesser place without him in it.
