Shuvanon Shahid

Shuvanon was diagnosed with desmoplastic small round cell tumors (DSRCT) in February of 2022 at 26 years old. Shuvie has continued to defy all odds and expectations, which is why I call him my unicorn. Shuvie is the kindest soul that will go out of his way if it meant helping someone else. He was preparing to apply to medical school when he was diagnosed and I believe he will be able to fulfill his dreams of becoming a doctor where he will be able to help other people with patience, kindness, AND lived experiences. He has brought so much love and light into countless people’s lives and I believe that he will continue to do so for a very long time.
